This Personal Data Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy") applies to all information that MEEG may obtain about a customer or partner while they are using the Website - https://www.meeg.io.
1. BACKGROUND
The following terms and conditions are included in this Privacy Policy:
"MEEG ADMINISTRATION (hereinafter — Site Administration)" — authorized employees to manage the technology platform, acting on behalf of www.meeg.io, which organizes and (or) carries out the processing of personal data, as well as determines the purpose of personal data processing, the composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) performed with personal data.
"PERSONAL DATA" is any information relating to an identified or identifiable on the basis of such information required by the Company in connection with the performance of its contractual obligations to the User/Customer.
Furthermore, personal data includes data automatically transmitted to the Services during their use by the software installed on the User's device, including the IP address, cookie information, information about the User's browser (or other software through which the User accesses the Services), access time, the address of the requested page.
"PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING" means the collection, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, modification), use, distribution (including transfer), depersonalization, blocking, and destruction of the personal data of Clients.
"CONFIDENTIALITY OF PERSONAL DATA" - a mandatory requirement for employees of the Company who have access to personal data not to allow the distribution of personal data without the consent of the Customer or other legal basis.
2. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Use of the MEEG website by the User/Customer constitutes consent to this Privacy Policy and the terms of User/Customer personal data processing.
If the User/Customer does not agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy, the User/Customer shall cease using the MEEG website.
2.3. The administration of the MEEG website verifies the accuracy of the personal data provided by the Website User.
2.4. The User/Customer, by using the Website, certifies that
- has all necessary rights permitting him/her to register (create an account) and use the services of the MEEG website;
- provides accurate information about him/herself to the extent necessary to use the MEEG Website services, the mandatory fields for further use of the MEEG Website services are specifically marked, and all other information is provided by the User/Customer at his/her discretion.
- Is aware that information on the Site posted by User/Customer about him/herself may become available to third parties not stipulated in this Policy and may be copied and distributed by them;
- is familiar with this Policy, agrees to it, and accepts the rights and obligations specified therein. Familiarization with the terms of this Policy and ticking the box under the link to this Policy is a written consent of the User/Customer to the collection, storage, processing, and transfer to third parties of personal data provided by the User/Customer.
3. PRESENTATION OF THE PRIVACY POLICY
The present Privacy Policy states the obligations of the Site Administration not to disclose and to protect the confidentiality of personal data which the User provides upon the request of the Site Administration by filling out the feedback form on the MEEG website.
The personal data permitted to be processed under this Privacy Policy is provided by the User/Customer by filling in the registration form on the MEEG Website.
3.3. The administration collects statistics about the IP addresses of its users. This information is used to detect and resolve technical problems and to monitor the legality of promotions and financial payments.
4. PERSONAL INFORMATION Gathering Purposes
The MEEG Site Administration may use the Personal Information of the User/Customer for the purposes of:
Creating an account and further authentication and granting the User/Customer access to a personal account.
Establish feedback with the User/Customer, including sending notices, inquiries, mailings, and text messages regarding the use of the MEEG Website and offers
Locating the User/Customer for security and fraud prevention purposes.
Confirming the accuracy and completeness of the personal data provided by the User/Customer.
Providing the User/Customer with efficient Customer and technical support when problems arise in relation to the use of the Website.
To provide to the User/Customer, with their consent, updates of the site/system, special offers, newsletters, and other information on behalf of the Site.
5. TIMES AND TIMES FOR PERSONAL INFORMATION PROCESSING
5.1. Personal data of the User/Customer shall be processed without limitation of time, in any lawful manner, including in information systems of personal data with or without the use of automation means.
5.2. The Website Administration shall inform the User/Customer of the loss or disclosure of personal data.
5.3. The Website Administration shall take necessary organizational and technical measures to protect the personal information of the User/Customer from unauthorized or accidental access, destruction, modification, blocking, copying, distribution, as well as from other unlawful actions of third parties.
5.4. The website administration, together with the User/Customer, shall take all necessary measures to prevent losses or other negative consequences caused by the loss or disclosure of the User/Customer's personal data.
5.5. In case the User/Customer does not agree to receive information from MEEG and/or Affiliates, the User/Customer may unsubscribe:
- by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email;
- in the Personal Area on the Website by deselecting the previously selected options;
- by sending a notification to [email protected] или by telephone contacting the MEEG Contact Centre.
When a notification is sent by e-mail to почту [email protected] or by contacting the contact center by phone, an inquiry will be created in the special software for recording the activities of the relevant User/Customer based on the results of the information received from the User/Customer. The appeal is processed within a maximum of 24 hours. As a result, the User/Customer information is not included in the mailing list segment.
6. CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE PARTIES
6.1. The User/Customer shall:
6.1.1. Provide up-to-date information about personal data necessary for using the MEEG Website
6.1.2. Update and supplement the information on personal data provided by MEEG in the event that such information changes.
6.2. The website administration is obliged to:
6.2.1. Use the information received solely for the purposes set out in clause 4 of this Privacy Policy.
6.2.2. To ensure that confidential information is kept confidential, not to disclose without the prior written permission of the User/Customer, as well as not to sell, exchange, publish, or disclose in other possible ways the transferred personal data of the User/Customer, except in accordance with the Law.
6.2.3. Take precautions to protect the confidentiality of the personal data of the User/Customer in accordance with the procedure generally used for the protection of such information in the existing business practice.
6.2.4. The User/Customer may at any time change (update, supplement) the provided personal information or part of it, as well as its privacy settings, by using the function of personal data editing in the section or in the personal section of the relevant Service. The User/Customer shall take care to ensure that the previously provided information is updated in a timely manner. Otherwise, MEEG shall not be liable for notices, goods/services, etc.
7. LIABILITY OF PARTIES
7.1. The Site Administration, which does not perform its obligations, is liable in accordance with the Law, except for the cases provided in Sec. 5.2, 5.3, and 7.2 of this Privacy Policy.
7.2. The Website Administration shall not be liable in the event of loss or disclosure of Confidential Information if the Confidential Information
7.2.1. Was in the public domain prior to its loss or disclosure.
7.2.2. Was obtained from a third party prior to its receipt by the Site Administration.
7.2.3. has been disclosed with the consent of the User/Client or by the User/Client.
8. D RESOLVED
8.1. Before going to court to settle disputes arising from relations between the User/Client of the Site and the Administration, it is mandatory to submit a claim (written offer to voluntarily settle the dispute).
8.2. The recipient of the claim shall notify the claimant of the outcome of the claim in writing within 30 calendar days after receipt of the claim.
8.3. This Privacy Policy and the relationship between the User/Client and the Site Administration are governed by applicable Law.
9. ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
9.1. The Site Administration may amend this Privacy Policy without the consent of the User/Customer.
9.2. A new Privacy Policy is effective from the moment it is posted on the Website unless otherwise provided in the new Privacy Policy.
